What works the same as Internet Download Manager
- Splits each download into several connections and picks up where it left off when your internet drops.
- Takes over the downloads you start in your browser, with an extension for Chrome, Edge and Firefox.
- A Download video button appears over videos on YouTube and most video sites.
- Click Add URL to paste a web, FTP or magnet link by hand.
- A list of places on the left and the downloads as a table with size, status, time left and speed.
What is missing
- There is no Mac version for Intel chips yet.
How to get started
- Click Download. It opens the project versions page.
- Pick the file for your system: the setup file for Windows, the dmg for a Mac with an Apple chip, or a deb, rpm or AppImage for Linux. Your computer will warn you the first time; the project says that is expected.
- Open "dm" once (dm.exe on Windows), then add the extension for your browser so it catches your downloads.
