What works the same as Acrobat
- Organize pages: rotate, delete, insert and reorder them.
- Fill in and create forms.
- Comments, passwords, redaction and basic digital signatures.
- Search, printing and an Accessibility Checker.
What is missing
- It is an alpha version. The project puts it at about 55% of the way to replacing Acrobat for everyday work.
- Editing a PDF's existing text is not reliable yet.
- No conversion to or from Office files.
- Reading text from scanned pages works only for Latin alphabets.
How to get started
- Click Download. It opens the PdfCraft page on the ArtCraft site.
- Pick the version for your computer: Windows, Mac or Linux.
- Install it, open PdfCraft and open any PDF.
