Clone of Notepad

What works the same as Notepad
- The same window: File, Edit, Format, View and Help menus, a plain text area and a status bar.
- Follows the original behavior, listed one by one in the project docs.
- Handles the same text encodings and printing.
- Installs for the current user, or runs from a zip you unzip anywhere.
What is missing
- Nothing is code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen may warn you on the first run.
How to get started
- Click Download. It opens the project versions page.
- Download the win-x64 zip, or win-arm64 for Arm PCs, and unzip it anywhere.
- Open Notepad.NET.exe. SmartScreen may warn on the first run, because nothing is code-signed.
