FilmCraft
Clone of Premiere Pro
Free video editor rebuilt from scratch to work like Adobe Premiere Pro, with the same panels, workspaces, tools and shortcuts.

What works the same as Premiere Pro
- Source and Program monitors, bins with thumbnails and a multi-track timeline.
- The Editing, Assembly, Color, Effects and Audio workspaces.
- A Lumetri Color panel with color wheels, and Lumetri Scopes.
- Keyframes with value and speed graphs in Effect Controls.
What is missing
- It is an alpha version. The project puts it at about 56% ready for real projects.
- It can't open Premiere project files (.prproj) yet.
- No plug-ins.
- It can be slow with large video files.
How to get started
- Click Download. It opens the FilmCraft page on the ArtCraft site.
- Pick the version for your computer: Windows, Mac or Linux.
- Install it, open FilmCraft and put your clips on the timeline.
