What works the same as Visio

• A ribbon, status bar, and canvas with rulers, grid and zoom.
• A Shapes pane with several open stencils and drag-to-page placement.
• Inspect and edit cell formulas in the ShapeSheet inspector.
• Right-click context menus with actions for your shapes.

What is missing

• The project calls itself sort of usable; presentation mode, Change Shape and freeform drawing are still open.
• Legacy Visio drawings (.vsd) are not supported yet.
• VBA macros and macro-enabled files (.vsdm) are planned for later.

How to get started

1. Click Download. It opens the project versions page.
2. On Windows, run the setup installer to install DiagramCraft.
3. On macOS, open the dmg package and drag the app to Applications.
4. On Linux, run the AppImage or install the deb or rpm package.
