Openlive
Clone of Discord
Private rooms for a group of friends, with screen streams, voice, cameras and text chat, on a server you own.

What works the same as Discord
- Voice rooms with mute, deafen, push-to-talk and volume per person.
- Text chat in each room, with mentions, unread badges and edit and delete.
- Spaces for each group, with rooms, invite links and roles like owner, admin and member.
- Screen sharing from a small helper app, with cameras in voice rooms.
What is missing
- Direct messages, bots and push notifications are not there yet.
- The helper that shares your screen runs on Linux and macOS; Windows comes last.
- It is for private groups, and each group sets it up on its own Cloudflare account.
How to get started
- There is no app to install for the server: one person in your group sets it up on a Cloudflare account, following the project guide.
- That person gets an install code and invites everyone else with a link. Members watch and talk in any recent browser.
- To share your screen, install the helper from the project page (Linux or macOS) and pair it with your server.
- On Android, a beta app is available as an APK file from the project page.
