What works the same as Postman
- Collections with nested folders on the left, request tabs on top and the response below.
- Environments and variables, a cookie jar and request history.
- It imports Postman collections, and exports to Postman too.
- It writes the request as code for cURL, JavaScript, Python, Go and more.
What is missing
- It has no accounts, so it has no hosted collaboration, SSO or cloud monitors.
- The system asks for confirmation the first time, because the builds are not signed yet.
How to get started
- Click Download. It opens the project versions page.
- On Windows, take the installer, or the single portable exe to run it without installing.
- On a Mac, open the dmg and drag Gostman to Applications. On Linux, use the deb or the AppImage.
