What works the same as Rider

• The layout of the new Rider: islands, tool window stripes and a solution explorer.
• Search Everywhere to find files by their initials, and the Rider keymap.
• Build, run and test with xUnit, NUnit and MSTest, with results in a tree.
• A debugger with breakpoints, stepping, watches and a variables tree.
• Git with changes, commit, branches, side-by-side diff and blame.

What is missing

• There is no Linux version.

How to get started

1. Click Download. It opens the project versions page.
2. Pick the file for your system: a zip for Windows (x64 or ARM64), or a zip or dmg for a Mac. Unzip it and run it.
3. Install the .NET SDK 8 or later first. The first time you open a C# file it needs an internet connection.
