What works the same as InDesign
- Spreads and parent pages, frames and threaded stories.
- The Control panel, paragraph and character styles, swatches and text wrap.
- Opens and saves IDML files from InDesign.
- Exports print-ready PDF, PNG and EPUB.
What is missing
- It is at an early stage: the project calls it pre-alpha.
How to get started
- Click Download. It opens the DesignCraft page on the ArtCraft site.
- Pick the version for your computer: Windows, Mac or Linux.
- Install it, open DesignCraft and lay out your pages with frames and styles.
