What works the same as PowerPoint
- Slide masters and layouts, themes, sections and notes.
- Over 150 shapes, connectors that stay glued, and merge shapes.
- Transitions including Morph, and entrance, emphasis and exit animations.
- A full-screen slide show with presenter view and rehearse timings.
- Tables, charts, basic SmartArt, audio and video.
What is missing
- It is an alpha version. The project puts it at about 55% of the way to replacing PowerPoint for real work.
- SmartArt is only basic.
How to get started
- Click Download. It opens the DeckCraft page on the ArtCraft site.
- Pick the version for your computer: Windows, Mac or Linux.
- Install it, open DeckCraft and start a deck or open a .pptx file.
