What works the same as Claude Code
- The terminal interface follows Claude Code with its welcome screen, status line and input prompts.
- Tool execution, permissions, MCP support and slash commands.
- File search uses ripgrep in the same way as the original CLI.
- Uses CLAUDE.md files to read project instructions.
What is missing
- It is a work in progress with some areas still partial.
- There are no ready-to-run installers: you prepare it from source.
How to get started
- Click Project page. It opens the repository on GitHub.
- Make sure you have Rust installed on your computer.
- Build the project with cargo build --release to create the cometix binary.
